Why are renewable energies important for reaching climate goals?

As the hydrogen has a big advantage over the methane towards the decarbonisation, the governments try to encourage industry and researchers by improving the regulations.
Currently, European countries such as Germany have almost 60 hydrogens fuelling stations, to provide more easy refuelling with the same as petrol or diesel.
Hydrogen could help the transport industry to fuel trucks on the roads, flights, and vessels. Already hydrogen-fuelled HGVs are in operation, and Japan tries to develop the hydrogen project to help Tokyo Olympics.
