Fuel Poverty is assessed using NHER. You can see that only by employing both insulation and CHP for hot water can you sucessfully leave fuel poverty region of around 2 and under, and go beyond the glasgow average of 6.
CHP for Hot Water offers a very reasonable upfront investment - beating both insulation and CHP for central heating by far.
Heating Demand reduction = 4.9 years
CHP central heating = 14 years
CHP Hot Water = 3.7 years
Combined heating demand reduction and CHP hot water = 4.6 years
