Analysis and Assumptions

In this section we have outlined various analysis procedures and assumptions required to create the case studies. Of greatest sensitivity to the model are the assumptions on the type of profile to be used in the analysis.

Electrical Profile - the difficulties in modelling 80 different profiles together, and simulate the "spacing out" of the loads.

Space Heating Profile - the creation of the ESP-r model and discussion of the results.

Hot Water Profile - how we calculated the hot requirements and how the CHP was used to match supply with demand.

CHP - how the conventional way to size CHP for space heating was undertaken, and the modelling assumptions.

Energy Analysis - the high level assumptions which we required to undertake the overall energy consumption analysis

Financial analysis - a discussion into how we formed our financial arguments.
