CO2 Calculator manual

The CO2 calculator was designed by Cambell Palmer Partnership and is not linked with any other parts of our tool. Its aim is to estimate carbon dioxide emissions from wood chips processing and transportation.

Inputs:

The user is expected to input values in white boxes. The following activities are taken into account:

1. Harvesting (figure 1)

3. Transport to depot (figure 3)

4. Chipping (figure 4)

5. Delivery (figure 5)

Outputs:

Results include:

  1. Carbon dioxide emissions per tonne
  2. Carbon dioxide emissions per kWh energy

An example results table is shown on figure 6.
