Evaluating Renewable Energy Potential

The potential renewable resources in rural locations vary between each particular place. For assessing the potential for using these resources and making a recommendation for the most suitable small scale renewable technology, an initial simple (qualitative) analysis is undertaken followed by a technical (quantitative) analysis. Therefore, in this section the method to evaluate and assess renewable energy potential at each location is divided into 2 separate parts: General Considerations and Specific Considerations.
