| Comparison
of Model Prediction and Real Power Output
The next stage of validation was done by running the simulation and comparing the computer model output with the real power output of the wind farm, again provided to by Scottish Power. For reasons of commercial confidentiality, the real output of these operational wind farms can not be published here. However the following results show the difference between the power output predicted by the model using reanalysis data, and the actual power production of the wind farm.
N.B. Elliot's Hill was not used here because no operational data was available.
