     1.  Use of Solar tubes for office lighting

Solar tubes are lighting appliances that use natural light and therefore do not require electricity. A clear dome on the roof collects natural light, which is channelled down through super reflective tubing directly into the room below.

     2.  Use of solar yard lights for external emergency lighting

Solar yard lights possess solar cells, which are wired to a battery. During the day the battery is charged with electricity produced by the cells. When the installed photo resistor indicates darkness it turns on the LED.

               3. Use of Rainwater

Rainwater could be collected and used for flushing toilets and used as tap water in toilets.

               4. Recycling of water

Grey water could be recycled and re-used for flushing toilets.

               5. Pod design of accommodation units similar to the methodology adapted by the North Sea oil rigs

Pods can then be connected effortlessly with all utilities built into the building fabrics.
