Site inspections of both Eaglesham Village and the University’s John St. plant room. Contacts were established for both sites - Ross Simpson (Estates), Norry Campbell (plant room) for the University site, and Professor Scott (Community Council), Hamish Campbell (East Renfrewshire Council) for Eaglesham.
Ross Simpson was able to initiate our data collection for the University site - existing university plant, electricity and gas network, existing meters, existing logged data. He would contact Scottish Power and Transco in order to try and obtain better quality data. Hamish Campbell gave us another
contact in Scottish Power (Gerry McGlone) to try and get power demand data of Eaglesham.
Attended the first of the web-site construction classes given by Dr. Allison Littlejohn.
Agenda For Next Week
Define a project proposal and project approach.
Site data collection - gas and electricity records. Manual metering for set period of time may be necessary if no other means found.
Attend second web-site construction class.
