Background: I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering obtained in 1996 from IST (Instituto Superior Técnico), at Lisbon (Portugal). Before embarking on the present course, I worked for a year and a half in the Department of Energetic Processes of an EDP Group (Electricity of Portugal) engineering company and I shall also be returning to them upon completion.
