As well as the real power output of the wind farms, we were also given
the yearly measurement data of 6 meteorological masts.
This data was used to run a simulation of the wind speed hitting a
single theoretical wind turbine. The simulation was then repeated, this
time using the reanalysis data for the region.
Below is the wind speed calculated using reanalysis data compared to
the wind speed calculated using the real measured data.
