I am 25 years old and come from Glasgow, Scotland. I studied electrical and mechanical engineering here at Strathclyde University. It was at this time that my interest in renewable technology and energy seeded. After graduation I started my military career at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Currently I am back at Strathclyde University studying Energy Systems and the Environment MSc. After which I hope to promote my knowledge to help find solutions to energy crisis in areas of the world that maybe not at the top of the political list.

I am student of MSc Energy systems and Environment at University of Strathclyde Glasgow, UK. I did PGD and BSc Metallurgical and Materials Engineering from University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, Pakistan. After that, I worked as Assistant Manager Production in local steel industry for more than one year. On the basis of academic record I got DFID scholarship for higher education in UK. I then developed my interest to the highly regarded field of Renewable sources of energy. Now I am looking to pursue my career in this field.

I am 25 years old and I am doing my Energy Systems and the Environment MSc at the University of Strathclyde. The last 5 years I was studying at the Technological Institute of Crete and I graduated with Mechanical Engineering BEng. I have been working for one year in a wind energy laboratory in Heraklion in Creta. I am very keen on environmental issues and renewable sources and after my graduation I would like to continue my studies by taking a PhD degree in a relative area. My philosophy is to improve our quality of life in a more friendly way to the environment, using sustainable engineering and renewable sources in order to protect the planet.

I have studied mechanical engineering. I am also a qualified marine engineer with about seven years experience working aboard cargo ships.
During my tenure as a marine engineer I have travelled around the world, not in eighty days though!!
I have always been very interested in energy conservation and renewable energy and hence grabbed the opportunity to
widen my knowledge through an MSc, Energy Sysytems and the Environment here at University of Strathclyde.
I am particularly interested in the area of energy conservation, an area which I believe will play a vital role to reduce
emission of green house gases, which are widely believed to cause global warming and climate change.
