 Rise in global temperature
It has been predicted that the global temperature could rise between 1 to 3.5°C by 2100, this would
be the largest change in temperature
the the earth would have experienced in the last 10,000 years. However this is based on the global community
doing nothing about the
levels of the greenhouse gases that they are emmitting. Arise in temperature would in pact on many areas,
such as the polar caps and
areas under threat of desertification are but two. If the polar ice caps melt, the sea level would rise
flooding many low laying areas,
impacting of the humans population that live there, on food production and on the flora and fuana of
the effected region. |
