ESP-r: Exemplars
Current capabilities
ESP-r support for working with example models or group accessable models:

ESP-r comes configured with a range of exemplar models for use with
testing the system and to support skills acquisition. Practitioners
can browse or make personal copies of these exemplars without prior
knowledge of simulation
- ESP-r can also be configured to allow staff in a company to
access a collection of current projects.
- Procedures are emerging to convert existing models into useful
exemplars.
The aim of this facility is to allow models to be browsed easily
and downloaded into a users working area with only a few commands.
Primary routines
- esruprj/cadio.F - scan a list of exemplars
- training/exemplars - the current list of models
Primary variables
- COMMON/?? - work in progress
Issues arising
- Lists of exemplars requires manual editing (there is no management interface)
- There is no automatic mechanism to test existing exemplars to see
if they still work as the software evolves.
