Recommended Housing Density

We feel that the population density, as currently proposed by the council, is too low. To make best and efficient use of resources in an urban environment the density needs to be higher. This is a must for Sustainable urban living.

We feel that the oatlands district should comprise of about 2500 dwellings, and not 1300, as currently proposed. On the basis of the average of 2.3 persons per household, this would yield a population of the development of about 5750 persons.
