I had the opportunity to work with Mott MacDonald and gained experience as a mechanical engineer specialized in piping systems engineering for a number of years. The work involved the development of upstream onshore oil and gas facilities. My growing interest in new and renewable energy and the desire to be actively involved in the changing energy landscape led me to pursue the MSc in Renewable Energy Systems and the Environment.
