The number of holiday house visitors varies from month to month depending mainly on the weather and holiday dates. Hence, a constant occupancy rate throughout the year would not be suitable for holiday houses. Regarding to generating energy demand profile, occupancy data shows the number of days and which days, the holiday house will be occupied throughout the year. Half-hourly energy consumption behaviour (electricity, hot water and space heating) of occupants will only be put in the day that the holiday house is occupied in order to generate the energy demand profile.
